The first image shows a piece done in traditional technique, oil pastels blended on pastel paper.
Subsequent images show the technique of spreading color with water-soluble pastels, then taking a brush with water to “liquify” and blend them. Soon after I discovered watercolors on Yupo paper, which is why there are so few with this technique. (The last image uses a combination of media.)
